My vaginal pain feels like I am having intercourse with a butcher’s knife. No doctor has come back to me with anything but dirty looks and labeled me bipolar. Food for thought is sexual abuse at age 3 to 12 years.

I am 28 weeks pregnant and just experienced vaginal pain after intercourse for the first time this morning. During sex was fine, but after I felt a burning swollen sensation at the vaginal opening like I had just finished an all-nighter of intercourse, but it was only about 20 minutes. I've read it is due to decreased lubrication during pregnancy and that more blood travels to the tissues making it more sensitive.
