I am 57 and 6 years into menopause. I had abnormal uterine bleeding last year; spots here and there, but couldn't tell where it was coming from, it just appeared. Doctors thought kidney stones due to family history. Lots of tests and nothing. Cystoscopy for bladder, CT to look at larger situation, several ultra sounds, all were good. Then I had a 14 day 10 percent of regular period bleeding and I knew. Doctor said to do Pap, all clear, then I was referred to a specialist. Specialist asked for transvaginal ultrasound which found polyp and ill-defined and 9 mm thick endometrium. Specialist advised endometrial biopsy but I begged not in office due to my high anxiety and because others said it was so very painful even though short. She agreed to operate. Just did that yesterday operative hysteroscopy and D and C with anesthetic and it was great. I am back to work, no pain and no bleeding. I am awaiting results.

I had a D and C at the end of September to help with heavy bleeding. Now my doctor has me on Safyral and progesterone to try to control my bleeding but I am still bleeding every day but lightly. We are planning a hysterectomy in June.

I am 46 years old with 3 children. Since 2010 I am bleeding heavily. I had a sterilization in 2009 and had a normal cycle until this happened. It started out for 5 days and 2011 it changes to 10 days. I go every month to the nearest clinic for my checkups. They gave me hormonal tablets and tablets to stop the bleeding, they did all the necessary test but the bleeding is 15 days a month now and it's a big inconvenience and expense for me. I get black outs, heavy sweats and heart palpitations during those times.

I have been on the two months injection for irregular vaginal bleeding for 5 years. I haven't had periods for 5 years while on the injection. I stopped it in January 2018 and end of March I started my period but since March until now I've been bleeding and it is not consistent. It will go away for a day or two then just after intercourse it starts bleeding again. I really don't know what is happening and I seriously don't have money to go to doctors.
