Carbs cause unbearable pain and suffering. When I have any processed carb I'm going to suffer an ulcerative colitis flare. Things like bread, rice, pasta, milk, cereal, granola, sweets, and junk food; all of these do a job on my gut. I stick to berries (mainly strawberries), lemon in my water, meats (sans the sausages) veggies, hard cheeses, and eggs. I used the FODMAP in combination with ketogenic diet. It has really helped me. I can't say there hasn't been cheat days but I pay for them! Less pain, no diarrhea! It's working for me!
