My typhus infection symptoms are abdominal pain all the way to my back – my back felt like it was going to break (horrible), cough, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, a high fever of 105 that wouldn't go away with Tylenol, pain on the left side of my head – light, TV, cell phone and sun would make it worse (horrible), and leg pain and all over body pain like when you get the flu. It took two weeks in agonizing pain before my doctor was able to diagnose me with typhus. I went to the hospital 8 times in so much pain.

I had mild headache on the top of my head every day for about a week. I work at a doctor's office and checked my temperature daily. I always had it at 99. I also had pain around my eyes from the typhus infection.

My symptoms of typhus infection started with moderate head ache and shivers, then violent constant head ache and high fever 39 C. It was the front of the head that ached horribly like you want your skull to explode to relieve the pressure inside. All around the eye brow too. Putting my head forward made it all the more worse. Then on the 5th day, it seemed to be better for the head, but I had a general fatigue. And now I start my treatment of antibiotics, so don't know what is still to come next.
