After TB (tuberculosis) skin test on Monday I developed left abdominal/flank pain by night time. By Tuesday evening I had severe body aches, chills and severe headaches with dizziness for the next 3 to 4 days. I started developing thrush by Thursday. On Thursday I had COVID test which turned out negative. By Friday the symptoms started to decrease, the chills are gone but I have constant headaches, decreased body aches and also mild dizziness. I was feeling much better by Sunday. Through all this, I did not have fever or respiratory cold symptoms.

I had TB (tuberculosis) skin test Monday. On Tuesday I experienced severe anxiety. It is now Sunday and am still feeling severe anxiety. I feel irritable and feel like crying. Don’t feel like myself.

I had a TB (tuberculosis) skin test 3 days ago and have had a persistent headache ever since. It feels different from any other headaches I have ever had. It is also worsened with alcohol.

I had a TB (tuberculosis) skin test on a Friday with no weal whatsoever. I was checked on Monday and just a slight bruise at the injection site. Thursday morning body aches and headache started lasting through Saturday night; now full blown respiratory infection with cough and congestion. I haven’t been sick since I got a DTaP vaccine in 2017. No more poisons for me ever!

I ended up with a migraine since getting the TB (tuberculosis) skin test, runny nose and body aches. On day 3 I developed a sore throat and had fatigue. I rarely get sick.

I had severe migraine the day after my TB (tuberculosis) skin test, with aura. I have never reacted to the others I have had in the past. I felt awful for 3 days after the test. Had headache, fatigue, dizziness, and nausea.

After having Mantoux test for tuberculosis (TB skin test), weakness started increasing, and I had body pain, headache, uncomfortable stomach, and cannot feel hungry. It is the 4th day after having the test and no improvements yet.

One day after my TB (tuberculosis) test, I had an extremely high fever, a bad cough and extreme fatigue. Wonder if this is common.

I had my TB (tuberculosis) skin test on Thursday. A couple of hours later I felt so weak and tired and still feeling the same after 5 days. I am having night sweats also. I will not go for the second round. The job is not worth all this. When do I start to feel like myself again! This test should not be given to people for any reason.

I have been weak and very tired after my TB (tuberculosis) skin test. I am on my 2nd day and can’t even think right. Is this poison or what!

I had the first of two TB (tuberculosis) skin tests this morning. Now my arm on which the test was done started with a swollen rise in the lower wrist and arm. The pain is terrible and I was wondering if anyone else has had this effect on their arm. It is a stabbing painful area below the test site.

I am a 56 year old male volunteering for the Veterans Affairs which requires two PPD (purified protein derivative) tests for TB (tuberculosis). After the first test on Tuesday I had no reactions or side effects but the Friday test, same week administered at 2 pm Saturday caused side effects. By 1 pm my throat was hoarse and I had a fever 100.9 F by 4 pm that lasted 12 hours. I am working on Monday but don't feel 100 percent.

Just yesterday I had my TB (tuberculosis) skin test for pre-employment. In less than 10 minutes I became very lightheaded, dizzy, numb in hands, and tingly. I also felt extreme fatigue and wanted to go to sleep right then and there. I still felt extreme fatigue and the very next day had a massive migraine. I was fine before all this. I am never going to do this vaccination again. I found you can opt out from this vaccination and get blood work instead. I hope I am normal again soon. Good forum, I feel not alone.

After having to get a TB (tuberculosis) skin test for work, I will never do this again. I was fine when I walked in, feeling great and a few hours later I started with a stiff neck and body aches. By bedtime I had a horrible headache. The next morning I felt like someone had hit me with a bat and I was in bed for two days. I also missed two days of work, not getting paid due to this skin test. FDA needs to find another way and x-rays are not an option with no insurance.

I have runny nose, sore throat, fever, nausea and general malaise a day after the tuberculosis (TB) skin test.

I am a patient, 45 year old female. This TB (tuberculosis) skin test is horrible! I had to have it done as part of my pre-employment screening. About 30 minutes after my test I had a splitting headache and pain on my left side! About two hours after is when the nausea came on and it was horrible! I have barely eaten anything for two days! The nausea comes and goes in waves! My arm aches from the shoulder down! I go for my reading at 4:15 pm today and if it’s missed they do it all over! No way, I will be there early!

After the TB (tuberculosis) skin test, I have itching and swelling over more than 15 mm area, hard to touch and mild pain while touching the area.

A few hours after the TB (tuberculosis) skin test, I began to have nausea, and body aches. The day after, I now have a splitting headache, fatigue, nausea, and feeling warm. I’d like to note that I feel this way after flu shots as well. I wish I knew why this happens. Whenever I talk about it, people just think I’m crazy. But clearly I am not the only one this happens to. I am seeing a rheumatologist soon, maybe I will bring it up to that doctor.

I had a TB (tuberculosis) skin test on a Thursday and by Saturday morning I was feverish, and had body aches, headache, chills, nausea and diarrhea. After I started feeling a little better Monday, I felt dizzy whenever I moved too quickly.

I got a 2 step TB (tuberculosis) skin test done, my first needle was administered on Tuesday with the reading to be done on Friday. It’s been one day, and I have had a sore throat with multiple coughing attacks. My skin where the needle was given is still red, and one of my eyes is red and bloodshot. I’m not sure if these are all side effects of the test or if the red eye is something else but it’s very odd.

I had a tuberculosis (TB) test for employment 5 days ago - feel like I’m dying. I have extreme fatigue, weakness, nausea, and loss of appetite. It started on day 1 afterwards with headache and nausea. I wonder when this will go away. Perhaps I should make out my will!

I had lightheadedness and felt dizzy for about a day after my TB (tuberculosis) skin test, followed by a severe headache that lasted for about a day. I had nausea for a day as well.

One hour after TB (tuberculosis) skin test I started to develop a headache. Three days later I still have a headache, I have been experiencing nausea, lower back and sciatic nerve stiffness and my temperature went up to 100.8. I called the clinic and the nurse said she doesn't think it was from the TB test. All I know is that I walked into that clinic to do the TB test for pre-employment and I was fine, and I walked out and these symptoms started. This is a 2 step TB screening and I'm getting another one in 4 days.

Two to three hours after receiving PPD (purified protein derivative) placement for a tuberculosis (TB) skin test, I developed a severe headache, fatigue, chills, cramps, diarrhea and achiness. The headache and chills lasted 24 hours. The fatigue lasted about 36 hours. Cramps and diarrhea lasted 2 days. Three days later, I am no longer generally achy, but have soreness at sites of previous joint injuries.

I had to get a tuberculosis (TB) skin test done for work, that was 2 1/2 months ago and I still have a red mark on my arm. I have had a reaction to the preservative in the past, but never for this long of a time.

I had my second TB (tuberculosis) skin test about 6 hours ago. I am suffering! I have headache, nausea, fever, joint pain, terrible sore throat, muscle aches and diarrhea! I got pretty sick after the first one which was a week ago today. I’m wondering if a second exposure is the cause of much more severe symptoms this time. I’m drinking lots of water and I took some vitamin C. Ugh! I’ve had it done twice before but only single tests and it didn’t faze me, I wonder why it’s affecting me so adversely this time round.

After doing the TB (tuberculosis) test I broke out in a rash not on the left forearm but on my left side. I wonder if this is possibly a side effect of the test. I am very irritable and have lots of itching. I haven't changed soaps or use anything different.

I have flu like aches, rash over face, neck and torso as well as headache, dizziness and nausea after my TB (tuberculosis) skin test.

I felt dizzy, lightheaded, and had double vision for 2 days like I was going blind. I had to get (tuberculosis) TB skin test for my new job as nurse.

I get tuberculosis (TB) skin test done every year (for the past 10 years) as I work in healthcare. This time, three hours after the test was done, I began to have episodes of lightheadedness as I walked around. There is a visible bruise on my arm (perhaps the injection went too deep). Overnight, every time I rolled to change position, I had episodes of dizziness.

I got a horrible migraine headache that started the day I had the tuberculosis (TB) skin test and lasted for 3 days!

I have a 2 inch red, swollen, painful spot where I got the tuberculosis (TB) test 3 days after it was given. The same thing has happened with previous tests but had been smaller and it takes around 2 weeks or longer for it to fully resolve.

My arm where they did the TB (tuberculosis) test itches really bad about 4 or 5 hours after the test being administered.

Comment from: John, 45-54 Male (Patient) Published: October 19

Tuberculosis skin test was administered deep into the arm tissue, not under the skin as a normal skin test. Swelling was approximately 10 mm and I could feel the effect of the test up toward the elbow immediately! The next day I could feel almost the beginning of flu like symptoms in my neck and chest on the opposite side of test. I am absolutely certain it is related to the TB skin test I had received.

Comment from: Mammie, 45-54 Female (Patient) Published: October 04

I was given a tuberculosis (TB) skin test and the nurse put 1.0 instead 0.1 serum in my arm. I am worried if this is dangerous.
