From the time that I started to menstruate, my periods were irregular. This only got worse as the years passed by. It went from 2 months to 6 months. After visiting the doctor and doing tests, I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). I am now 28 years of age and really trying to conceive so my doctor placed me on Provera, Clomid and metformin. I am overweight for my age. I have conceived on two occasions prior to being diagnosed, once in 2005 and the other in 2008. However since being diagnosed and placed on medications I have not gotten pregnant.
