I took the single dose of four pills and it didn’t work for my trich infection. I’m currently taking the 7 day dose.

Men can spread bacterial vaginosis and trich infection. They tend to have no symptoms and therefore do not know they have anything. He must be treated same time as the woman as it will be passed back and forth. You both must use the metronidazole pills. Women must use Flagyl at the same time too. You will have funky discharge. White chunky, brown, red or clear. It is the bacteria and yeast getting killed off. You may feel tired and awful. It is your body cleaning lots and lots of garbage out. It is normal. If you think you have a yeast infection ask if it is itching. If not it is probably the body is still clearing out the infections from deep in the tissues of your vagina and area. If it is itchy then go get treated for the yeast. Make sure that after all of this is over he did take the medicines. Afterwards both of you should take probiotics for a while to replace all the good bacteria in your body to keep you healthy and your digestive tracks working well. It may take a while to build this back up so you may be constipated for a bit. Good Luck!

I took metronidazole. It didn't work and I have to go back and get the other medication.

I was given metronidazole for my trich infection. I have had other curing STDs. So that doesn’t help. I have been hooked on heroin for various purposes. And I have had hepatitis C for about a year now. But I’m nervous, I know the symptoms can appear in 1 day. And I almost know for a fact I didn’t have it for long. The worst part is I’m sweating profusely which is not common, but neither are my dark urine, insomnia and nasty discharge.
