Here in Phoenix, Arizona, I got stung by a scorpion over 30 times on my back while sleeping. Going on 6 days of burning pain. I received a tetanus shot. I am taking Advil and Aleve for the pain. Also using ice packs on the area that gives out a burning, itching pain. Hopefully it goes away soon, but I hear it can last up to 10 days.

A big wave came unexpected and knocked the daylight out of me. When I fell my left pointing finger went all the way back and it started to swell right away. I went to the doctor. X-rays show I have damaged ligaments.

My pain started after doing a lot of heavy lifting at the start of this year. I could no longer turn over in bed especially on my left side but the pain started under my right ribs. This gradually worsened and I thought I had bad gastritis. My doctor diagnosed costochondritis. I am still having tests. It is so painful I cannot sit upright for long or lift anything heavy. Pain goes right through to my back and all over my upper torso. I have to take painkillers as soon as I wake and any movement makes it worse. I cannot take anti-inflammatories so this makes it worse.

I was diagnosed with lichen planus and I was prescribed clobetasol. But, the sides of my tongue are swollen and when I use the antibacterial mouth wash it burns.

My tongue developed deep cracks on it, and a white layer appeared when I woke up in the morning. Sometimes I feel pains on my tongue so that I can’t wash my mouth.

Geographic tongue just does not go away. It is a sign of vitamin B deficiency. My son had it for two years with everyone saying that it shouldn't hurt and that it will go away. It did hurt and hardly ever went away. All he does now is make sure he drinks vitamin water and takes his B vitamins.

This frequently happens to me, my tongue goes numb and the color is whitish. This last for about 30-40 seconds and always happens when I go outside during cool or cold nights. I was a previous smoker who quit 2 years ago.

My tongue feels rough like a cats. It feels as though I burned it. The papilla are raised on the sides. My tongue is pink and sore, and my teeth seem to irritate it further.
