I have pain in my left arm, all the way up the neck and down my arm along with headaches and throbbing. The pain started in the upper part of my arm and now it is traveling to the elbow. I am not on my medicines due to lack of Insurance. I wonder if this has anything to do with my thyroid.

I woke up one morning went to work as usual. I felt the right side of my neck and felt a lump. I became concerned and I went to urgent care after work and there the doctor noticed I had two more so I have a lump on the left and on the right and a small one in the center right of my throat. I had x-ray and then sent for CT, then ultrasound with fine needle biopsy. The ear, nose, and throat (ENT) doctor said it came back benign, thank goodness! But I will have surgery to remove the 6 cm mass on the right side of my thyroid. ENT said the one on the middle is causing the two on the sides, so I will see. I don"t like surgery but am hoping it turns out ok. I had weight gain and I am always tired, exhausted.

I had the FNA (fine needle aspiration) done last week, it hurt terribly. He had to use 4 needles on each side. My throat is sore and I sound hoarse. Years ago, he could feel the goiter, but this year, he sort of panicked because he couldn't. He went and did the ultrasound, and found 2 nodules one on each side of the thyroid. The pain from my jaw to my ear is bothersome. I hope it"s nothing, but Wednesday seems a long way away.

Six months ago, I noticed a swelling on my right side neck and saw a doctor who did blood tests and radiologist scans, the endocrinologist detected multiple nodules in my thyroid, for which I am waiting for needle biopsy. The swelling seems to have decreased. It feels like there's something permanently stuck in my throat.

My throat was sore. I went to a doctor and was told it's an inflammation. I took antibiotics but it did not cure me. I made a throat swab and discovered there was a growth. I did a neck scan and it was discovered I have a mild goiter and took TFT (thyroid function test) blood tests which proved I have abnormal TFT.
