My son and other boys were never told by medical personnel to check themselves monthly for testicular cancer. When he was 17 he had pain which he ignored, being embarrassed. When Urgent Care told him he needed immediate surgery he was shocked. If he had known about this cancer, he could have caught it before it had spread and would not have had to undergo chemotherapy, but sex education and doctors had not mentioned it. The American Cancer has hang tags for the shower which show on one side how males should check themselves for testicular cancer regularly and on the other side how females should check for breast cancer regularly. Everyone else has been silent on the subject to the detriment of male health.

I suffered an injury, due to a fall from a ladder, and shortly after developed a hernia and Peyronie's. I've had surgery for both the hernia and Peyronie's, and now have periodic testicular pain. My penis is now straight, but left me impotent. I now have a penile implant and wonder if this may be causing the pain in my testicles.

I just recently started to get an annoying pressure feeling around my pelvis area, on the right side. It has been a very stressful last two weeks and since then it has showed up. I do not think it is my actual testicle that is tender or swollen but on the right side of my pelvis close to where the leg joint connects.
