By lifting a fairly heavy weight and statically allowing my elbow to relax with my arm at my side, my tennis elbow that I had for a year quickly went away in a week. A few repetitions of a minute or so twice a day with increasing weight slowly allowed the tendon to stretch back out and the muscles to relax. Figured it out by accident when I had to carry a 50 pound suitcase for a few minutes.
