I had a slip and fall and broke my neck. After surgery and going home from the hospital I noticed that I began to see double. I went to my eye doctor who sent me to an ophthalmologist who tested me and told me I had strabismus. I am now 66 years of age.

I remember hitting my eyes somewhere when I was small. Since then, I have been living with strabismus. It is awful. I wish I can just wake up one day and it won't be there anymore. I went to see an eye doctor because the pain and criticism is much, he said it can only be corrected through surgery, for which I don't have money.

I was not born with strabismus, when I grew up it came, and not much. It comes when I am tired or I look one way a long time or when I think about something.

I have had crossed eye for some time now. It usually occurs when I wake up and later in the day. One eye focuses on an object while the other one doesn't, sometimes it is aligned. I am 20years old, I wonder if it can be cured.
