I have interstitial lung disease, a complication of Sjogren's syndrome which your article failed to mention. I was a little surprised not to see it among the many other complications listed.

I sometimes have swelling of the mouth and the tongue. I don’t know if anyone else with Sjogren's syndrome has had that too!

I received Shingrix vaccination yesterday and I am experiencing joint pain and tiredness. I also have trouble breathing, which I hear are common side effects. I’m not sure it was a good idea to have it, considering I do have primary Sjogren’s syndrome. I’m aware of the fact that the vaccination boosts your immune system to prevent the shingles. I’m a little worried about boosting into a flare up. There have not been many studies about the shingles vaccination and Sjogren’s. I’m scheduled for the second shot in two months and I’m not sure if I should get it.

I am male 71, have Sjogren’s syndrome, and now also have undifferentiated connective tissue disease, and lymphocytic interstitial pneumonitis (LIP). Also, I have just had shingles for the third time, so wondering if I should finally get the Shingrix vaccine.
