A few months ago I lost my child due SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome), on June 8th early in the morning. I came to check on my seven month old daughter. She wasn’t breathing. I tried CPR still nothing. A few minutes later my brother came. He tried CPR still nothing. This has been a nightmare for me.

My son died of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome), previously known as 'crib side death' at the age of 1 month, 2 days, almost 53 years ago. I had never heard of such a death at that time. I had taken him to his doctor a couple of days before his death and he was given a full medical examination and was given a 100 percent on his development and health. After his death, I spent 2 or 3 hours with his doctor completing a review of my pregnancy, my medical health, environment, his routine regarding his birth, development, etc. He was my 4th child and was my 3rd boy. As with my other deliveries, I had a difficult delivery and he was delivered by an obstetrician/gynecologist. I thought I would share my brief story with you.
