Are you prone to shin splints? If so, what treatment works well to relieve symptoms? Submit Your Comment
Last year I started running and had posterior shin splints after a few times. I changed to shoes with better arch support and the pain eventually went away. After a few months off, I started running again and the shin splints came back. I tried changing shoes and that did not help. I then tried naproxen (generic for Aleve) and the pain seemed to go away within a day.
I have had shin splints for the last 6 months. Finally I tried dry needling. Only one treatment but not any better so far.
My shin is painful and swollen from shin splints.
While playing a football I feel pain like someone stopped my legs from running.
