My son was diagnosed with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) at a young age and when he was 14, he started having anger issues. Then he calmed down, and by the time he was 18, he was working, being his own person. Then he started using methamphetamines, then he got off them and he stayed clean for years, Now he's 41, soon-to-be 42. He is hearing voices, he doesn't lose his temper anymore, but his personality is totally changed. I just got him out of the hospital and they told me that he was schizophrenic. I wonder if he has been schizophrenic since he was young.

I am suffering from schizophrenia for the past 20 years. I think that everybody else can read my mind and see me.

I have been diagnosed with almost all the mental illness in the book. First it was bipolar then generalize anxiety disorder to socio affective disorder now they stuck me with schizophrenia. Each time that they give me a diagnosis i was displaying symptoms of whatever they say i have, and that's what scares me. For the last 10 or so years i have been in and out of the hospital trying to find a treatment that do more good than harm. It's like an impossible task. Anyways i am lucky to have my mind in tack even after a brain surgery and I am determine to do something to help myself while others. I decided to go back to school and go as far as i can go in this field because who feel it know it:-)
