I was out of it in first grade and only came out once with my fourth daughter. I didn't stay in the moment and actually took myself to a bad spot and stayed there. I now know that it was schizophrenia and ready to explain to my children.

I have had schizophrenia since I was 17. I have had relapses due to not taking medications. Now at 56 I have been taking chlorpromazine for the past 5 years and have not relapsed although having unpleasant side effects like impotence.
