I am not sure how l got fluke worms. But my mom worked in a family nursery and was pregnant. I am sure that is how l got them in my bloodstream. I was 8 years old, went to the bathroom, and a worm came out in my stools. My parents, took the worm to our doctor and he told us the worm lived in me ever since birth. But now l am 58, been spitting up fluke worms, and that started 2 weeks ago. I have spat out 2 in the last 2 weeks. I am trying to find some kind of answers to help me get rid of them. I am worried about schistosomiasis.

I had chronic urinary infections and gastro problems, and lungs did not function properly, before diagnosed with schistosomiasis.
