I was diagnosed with American ringworm. I had a huge patch of skin growth on the back of my head, and I lost all the hair on the back of my head. I was really sore and I developed an abscess under the growth. My doctor told me it was a very strong type of ring worm rarely found in Australia. It took 2 years to heal.

I have to say I self-diagnosed ringworm. I had set up a dermatologist appointment so I could get treatment for a rash that was appearing along my waist band, but it was a whole month away. As I was waiting, the rash continued to spread and appear in new spots around my body. One day, while I was taking a bath (in ground oats to sooth the itching,) I looked at a spot and thought to myself, 'You know, that kind of looks like a ring...' then it clicked.

I have been suffering with ringworm since 2018. It has been almost 2 year but it cannot be cured. I talk to a dermatologist and he gave me medicine, but it again occurred after the medicine course was completed. It is now very upsetting for me.

I have a rash, it kind of round like ringworm and it's itchy. I put Neosporin or bacitracin ointment, it gets small but it comes back and it's on the back of my leg.

I think I got ringworm from my gym. I just started pool classes and within a month I was covered from head to toe. I can’t use gym pool anymore and have to stay clothed around people.
