I've seen my nan in pain before she was old enough for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) to show in her blood. For younger ladies like me it doesn't always show RA, it can take years to show, so basically doctors have put me on gabapentin. They have left me in the dark until it shows, and just say that I've got fibromyalgia. Please listen to someone whose nan nearly broke the world record for the most body replacements. I know it is connected other inflammatory conditions. I have seen every female member of my family on my mum's side get it an end up with RA.

I sometimes have deep intense aching pain from fibromyalgia that can bring me to tears. I have headaches almost daily. I sometimes even have pain in my cheekbones if I eat something chewy. I feel very bruised all over and if I injure myself even slightly, it feels like a bad injury for weeks at a time.

I have been suffering from arthritis and fibromyalgia for approximately 10 years. I live with pain. My sister was talking with a friend that has the same. Her friend had the same sleeping problems as I do. There is a product that is a thick plush mattress pad that is heated. I fall asleep very quickly. It is a blessing. Literally it took me hours to fall asleep. Now it takes me 5 plus minutes to pray and 5 minutes after that I am asleep and sleep 10 or more hours.
