I am a 56 year old woman who has suffered with chronic sinusitis since I was about 14. Many doctor visits, many antibiotic pills and many tests later (4 weeks ago, to be exact) I was diagnosed with primary immunodeficiency disease (PIDD). I kept telling my many doctors, 'something just isn't right! I shouldn't be sick and miserable all the time!' Finally, my rheumatologist had my Ig levels checked. Then rechecked, and then checked again. He sent me to a hematologist who ordered a bone marrow biopsy. Finally a diagnosis!
