I was diagnosed in 2007 by biopsy and labs with PBC (primary biliary cholangitis). I was 57. A doctor that read the original tissue sample said I was stage 2 at biopsy. Thirteen years later I am diagnosed as still stage 2 by the same doctor. My two main symptoms are fatigue, some itching and easy to bleed skin. I have taken Urso from the beginning and stay away from grains (all except rice on occasion). When I cheat at the holidays (which I do), I pay for it with bloating, foggy thinking, loose stools and terrible stomach pain.
