I was prescribed bupropion for my PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder). While it did alleviate some of the anxiety, I realized that it made me paranoid. I stopped taking it for 2 months and no paranoia. Now I don't know what doctor will prescribe. I would rather be irritable and keep to myself during PMDD versus feeling paranoid.

My doctor put me on Zoely contraceptive pill and it worked a charm. I was already on an SNRI - serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (Cymbalta) for depression but it was not enough to help with PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder).

My doctor suggested I start taking spironolactone 100 mg from Day 10 to Day 26 of my 27 day cycle (basically until I bleed). Who knows if it will help my PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder) or not! I am sick of wanting to die every month.
