I have similar bronchitis symptoms. I started with a mild cough, non-productive, then my throat was sore, so I saw my general physician (GP). He prescribed antibiotics which I took for 5 days but my cough was becoming more productive since day 2. I have had some coughing fits and soreness above sternum with each cough. I was constantly needing to cough continuously, and it was hard to stop unless I took codeine linctus syrup. I went back to the GP and he said it's an upper respiratory tract infection, trachea only and lungs were clear. My 2nd lot of antibiotics are helping, I have less cough.

Cervical bone spurs was the cause of my pinched nerve. The spurring causes inflammation which compresses the nerve.

One year back I did workout in the gym with 30 kg weight for triceps, doing it without free exercises. Due to that I got a pinched nerve and it feels like electrical sensation while running, and poking my legs, arms and back.

My herniated discs caused pinched nerves in my lower back and neck. The solution to relieving the excruciating pain shooting down my leg is, intervals of ice, anti-inflammatory medicines and standing on a step with my 'good' leg and pushing/swinging my painful leg slowly to relieve the pressure and pain. It helps!

I was pregnant early this year but around April scan showed my baby had not grown, it was still at 8 weeks while I was way past. After about some weeks I had a miscarriage and the doctor did evacuation for me and put me on some drug. That was around June. I didn't see my period in August. By September I didn't see it and pregnancy test was negative, so I took Clomid and metformin. With the first dosage my period came but this month I have not seen it and I took Provera, but it still hasn’t come.

I've been experiencing pain in the lower back, left side for 3 weeks. Week 1 was about 4 pain level. It got worse over time. Now I'm at a level 8. I had x-rays. I have a pinched nerve with bone spur in my last two vertebrae. I'm on an oral steroid, prednisone, for inflammation and pain (that's not working). MRI at this point is too expensive and we should wait until I can't walk or when I experience level 10 pain. (Hey, I'm already seeing bright lights from the pain). So at the doctor’s suggestion is to wait and see if I heal on my own. I can't walk but 50 ft. without stopping, my left leg cramps up so bad. I've already missed 3 days of work (no pay).

There are many causes for pinched nerve. I got this when I met with an accident. Applying ointment does not help, a homemade remedy which is a mixture of cinnamon and honey helps me to get relief from this pain.
