I am less than a year post liver transplant. I have been having palpitations a few times a day in the past few months. I feel it up into my neck and feel light headed. I have to just stand there for a few minutes and take some deep breaths until it passes. I get lab tests in the morning to see if my potassium level is too high.

I'm 66, been having palpitations (skipped beats) for 40 years, and they still scare me. These started a few weeks ago and are getting worse as the days go by. I can feel it skip, then I get a feeling in the base of my throat like I'm going to gag. Otherwise I don't feel too bad, but the irregular beats are driving me nuts. I am very anxious also.

I have palpitations every day and also up the left side of my neck. Sometimes I feel I can't breathe. I have had this for 40 years but it has definitely got worse as I got older. I am waiting to go back to the heart specialist.

My palpitations last for 12 hours, start early morning around 2 to 3. I feel the rapid beat in the left side of my neck. Beats are irregular too. I can't get out of bed for 12 hours, just to feed cats, maybe have soup 6 hours in.

My palpitations feel like skipping sensations and at times when I'm at rest it feels like my heart wants to stop. I feel most of my palpitations when I'm at rest. Sometimes they feel like someone is pounding on my chest. I get up right away. It feels like my heart skips a beat then it continues with a heartbeat. One cardiologist told me that I will need a pacemaker one day. I had a heart attack 25 years ago. I'm tired most of the time.

I've been getting palpitations with shortness of breath for the past three days. I feel panicky. It happens off and on during the day. I also have a history of low blood pressure.
