I had never ever had swimmer's ear. On vacation I thought I had an abscess in my tooth. The pain got worse and my ear hurt, gum, roof of my mouth, cheek and jaw. Ibuprofen didn't touch it. I went to an urgent care clinic and was diagnosed with a bad case of swimmer's ear. I was prescribed an oral antibiotic because she couldn't rule out middle ear or an issue with my tooth and I was traveling. Within two days I felt so much better. It was terribly painful. Don't delay, go see a doctor!

I have had swimmers ear for 2 1/2 years. I have been on numerous drops and pills. I had a benign brain tumor and received radiation which messed up my ears. I am at my wits' end with this. I have seen my ENT numerous times and still have it. I don't know what to do.
