I have had deep vein thrombosis in both legs and have extreme dizziness when standing from a squatting or sitting position. I have very little blood flow in the lower part of my body. My general physician only says to increase salt and fluid intake to control the orthostatic hypotension.

The first time I had an attack was about two years ago after getting up from squatting at an Indian commode. I came to know later it was due to Parkinson’s disease.
