I am a disabled veteran. I received my care for onchocerciasis at the local Veterans Affairs (VA) clinic. After a year and a half, the doctor refused to see me. He had already given me de-wormer and he said it was in my head, so I went to the hospital, because the VA told me the hospital would take care of me. The hospital gave me 10 days of doxycycline and informed me I was to go to the VA. Two months have passed, no diagnosis, and the new doctor called a psychiatrist in because I brought nodules so they can diagnose me. I have pictures my nodules and I need help.
