I had no complication from my neck lift surgery.

The area directly under my chin and slightly down the front of my neck filled up with serous fluid. I went in weekly to get it drained for fear the skin would not adhere, re-drape as my doctor called it. The skin on the lower front area of my neck did nicely. However, the area directly under my chin appears as if I have double chin issue which I did not have before. My doctor said it is due to the serous fluid which caused a pocket and now scar tissue has built up. I've been working with my doctor because he is willing to work with me. I am scheduled for re-surgery and I am quite concerned with it. I am a 46 year old healthy woman. I do not smoke and I work out. My neck was in terrible shape; aged me considerably.
