I have been given Plaquenil, Procardia, sometimes prednisone or methotrexate for MCTD (mixed connective tissue disease).

As the article says the treatment for MCTD (mixed connective tissue disease) is to reduce inflammation. Thus, a patient should look into his/her eating habits and get into an anti-inflammatory diet such as Wahls protocol or autoimmune protocol.

Today on 14 Jun 2018 it was confirmed that the patient is suffering with mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD). Now no treatment is recommended by the doctors.
