As a long time patient with muscle soreness in my neck and years with stress related problems I have found massage therapy very helpful. It makes me feel more relief, and grounded. Not sure if there is any difference in massage and how it is done but the more relaxing and soft massage I get, the more beneficial to me. There are probably many individual opinions and I guess it is a matter of taste how you like the massage. It is a good help for my muscle tensions.

I have played football for the better part of my life up till now. Injuries are fairly common occurrences for me as I like to play a rough game. Massage therapy is a blessing for people like us as it releases all the muscle tightness and eases up the pains. I feel massage therapy is not only to relieve pain and cure injuries but to relax as well.

I have had a slight blood clot in my lower back, but it hurt terribly. My friend recommended me a relax massage and thank goodness I listened to him. The gentle pressure help ease out the tangled nerves and in a month, the pain was minimized.

Massage feels so good but then the pain is so much worse afterward. It gets a little bit better with time but never returns to the lesser level of pain I had before the massage, so with continued massage the pain gets worse and worse. I will not submit to any more massages. The therapists I used were well trained wonderful caring individuals. I suspect that massage is not appropriate for every condition. I really wish I had not done it, as I am stuck with so much pain now.

Massage has a lot of benefits, it relaxes your body, gives you mental relief, and powers up your blood circulation.

Massage therapy has worked for me. If you have really tight muscles, go with acupuncture. The therapy increases blood flow to the brain.
