I speak of back in 1986-89 when my husband caught legionnaires. Because he caught it off buses he couldn't get diagnosed for a long time. He didn't know what was wrong with himself. After having blood tests, chest x-rays and sputum tests, at first doctors saying all negative and nothing wrong, he researched it himself and only when he found the answer and went through all the tests again did the doctors say positive to it and gave him the antibiotic. Too long and almost took his life.
