Try prune juice (just one ounce to start) for constipation and see how that works. That has always helped my babies that suffered bad constipation. It worked very quickly. Add to a bottle or feed separately.

My grandson is 13 months old. He was prescribed a laxative for constipation. But even after 2 weeks of therapy he strains a lot while passing stools, as if in pain.
