I was 55, I had larynx cancer and throat surgery about 3 years ago. I have a stoma now. The symptoms and knowledge in this article are absolutely correct. It was like starting at the beginning again reading this article. There is hope and support groups out there. Medical technology is awesome now. Don't beat yourself up! Get up and move on. Peace.

I had larynx cancer and had 35 radiation treatments. Three months after I started having very bad neck and ear pain, and was told it was radiation induced neuropathy. The pain is getting much worse. I do take medication which helps take the edge off.
