It’s already been 6 months since my knee injury. I did 2 weeks of physiotherapy, X-ray, video X-ray, everything, and rested so long, but nothing has improved. I am so much worried about my knee because I am an athlete. Due to the pandemic I can’t go to the hospital for treatment. So I am looking for some tips for reducing my knee pain.
I am a 23 year boy. First, back in 2016 I had an inversion ankle sprain in my right leg where I got 8 stitches. Afterward, I got pain in my leg especially in the area below my knee and right above the knee bone. I got all MRI, x-ray and got the conclusion that my knee bones are perfect, but whenever I stand for a moment or walk a longer distance I get pain in those areas I mentioned. I don’t know what the problem may be. It’s been 4 years I am struggling with this pain.
My knee injury was a result from a metal cart hitting my right leg. It is badly swollen and I have sharp pain in the right front and back of the knee.
A few months ago I was playing in a soccer tournament. In the final minutes of the game I jumped for a header and after hitting the ball I landed on my right foot and heard a pop in my knee. I was really worried and checked with some friends for their opinions. Some thought it was a meniscus injury or even a torn ACL (anterior cruciate ligament). But I slowly got better and after a few months I could walk almost fine, except one day while carrying my suitcase in an escalator that wasn’t working I injured my leg again.
I have a twisted knee cap. The reason is because I fell in the game of soccer, so now I can’t even play freely. The injury is on my left knee and I am right footed but I am struggling. Sometimes I think that I should just quit soccer.
My MRI report tells class 3 tearing of the knee.
While running in a game of tennis, something on the right side of my knee popped. For weeks afterword it has been painful walking up stairs. It's been 4 weeks now and everything is back close to normal, but still not perfect.
I hurt my knee doing spinning and Zumba. I had to go to Accident and Emergency at my local hospital. They said I had soft tissue damage and arthritis. It was so painful I couldn't put any weight on it and going up and downstairs was a nightmare. It has slowly improved but I still struggle to do any exercises where I have to put a lot of weight on it. This injury happened about 4 months ago and it still keeps swelling up and hurting. It clicks when I straighten it and I have trouble moving it in bed. It locks and is very painful.
Over five years ago I was having knee problems. I saw the orthopedic doctor. He did an MRI and said I needed a knee replacement not then but soon. He said I would know when. I was planning to retire in five years so put it off. Within weeks after retiring and moving to another state I injured my knee and went to another orthopedic and he did an MRI and said all I needed was an arthroscopic surgery for a torn meniscus. So I did it a month ago. I still can't walk over 100 feet with or without a cane. My other knee is now in bad shape and I don't know if I should take the chances on another surgery to repair my torn meniscus or just learn to live with it. I am so tired of being on a scooter to get around being home bound. I am in pain every night and in cold weather all the time; not happy.
My mother fell upon her left knee. The knee got swollen and she is feeling pain and inflammation. The knee bone didn't get injured.

It's been 2 months since my surgery and I can barely walk these days without pain. I always have been an active women since I was 28 and had a special needs child to train. I bought a brace and hire a trainer and cycle a little. Lifestyle is destroyed.
