I was hit by a car but my leg was never broken, it was just swollen and somewhat scratched; I never bled much. This accident has happened 13 years back, so today I am facing some leg pains, I have no idea what went wrong.

I was walking and a friend ran up from behind and put her arm over me. I felt my leg turn and with all my weight I instantly dropped to the ground, and it hurt so badly it knocked the wind out of me. I was in so much pain I lay there for a minute. Then with her help I walked and sat in the car. It swelled up and only bruised lightly. It has been a month now and I just use an Ace wrap, do ice and heat every now and then, and take ibuprofen when needed. I feel a shock sometimes or it pops and has given out when standing. I wonder if I should see a doctor.

I was on the back seat of the bike sitting on one side, the road was narrow, and another bike was parked at the same side I was sitting. At a point the back holding part of the bike hit lower part of my knee, as my legs were bent. Now it has not got swollen but it is paining while bending, standing, or walking.

My husband and I were hiking down a trail to get to the beach. It was a little steep, the first step I took, my foot slipped out from under me and I landed with my left knee behind me. My foot was under my butt. I had severe pain, swelling and weakness for about a week. I did home treatment. Now it has been about 7 months and when I go from sitting to standing I cannot bear weight for a minute or two, it almost feels like something is dislocated.

I was told by my doctor that I possibly have an ACL tear. I go in for an MRI today. Not entirely sure how I got it. I was prescribed Mobic for the swelling, although it doesnt feel like it does very much. My knee is still swollen, and still painful. I will update my post about my experience.
