I have been getting urinary tract infections (UTIs) from a young age. When I was pregnant with my first child it started getting worse. From then I am always on and off antibiotics. That pain is some days not so bad. Others I am just wiped out; even to the point of passing out. And my back and abdomen are always tender. I'm 49 years old, mother of 2 grown children for whom I am concerned this could be a risk factor for getting kidney infection. I have been tested over and over but no doctor has told me why. The only test I haven't had is an MRI. I had an ultrasound, and scope, lots of blood and urine tests.
