I had the intrauterine device (IUD) implanted back in 2015, a few months after I gave birth to my daughter. Little by little my period become more irregular and the symptoms are getting worse. I experience severe headaches around the time that I am supposed to have a period and after. I have poor vision, my memory I do not even have a word to explain it. It is a little smelly down there and with the help of my doctor I am starting to get that under control, and I have severe cramps for no reason. My period is completely cut off.

I have my intrauterine device (IUD) since last July 2016. The month of March has finished but my monthly period never occurred and my last period was on February 26. I am a little bit worried. I don't want to be pregnant again and my IUD is 12 years type.

I have installed IUD when I was 24 after my son was born and I had it removed after 5 years. Then I have had three more children. I was very happy all my life but I had breast cancer two years ago, I wonder what caused it. I breastfed all my children, I'm slim, active and exercise, there is no history of cancer in my family. My IUD is a very old kind, back to 40 years ago, I wonder if that may be had a lot of side effects.
