My strep throat started with a little sore throat and ear pain on one side. Within the next 3 hours I felt like I had the flu; high fever, body aches, pains, chills, shakes and a bad headache. My throat was the least of my concerns. The next day, my throat swelled up with giant white pus pockets. The sides of my head and my ears hurt so bad I couldn't sleep even with taking nighttime cold medicines. I went to Urgent Care finally and found out it was strep throat. They gave me steroids and amoxicillin.
My strep throat symptoms started out feeling like a slight sore throat but rapidly progressed throughout the night. I had chills, headache, fever and body aches. The pain became unbearable that I had to go to the hospital. The throat pain was just unbelievable. I have been taking antibiotics for 2 days and I still don’t have all my taste buds like normal.
My strep throat symptoms started with a severe headache. I had chills and sweats without a fever, mild sore throat that became severe, and difficulty swallowing that turned into difficulty sleeping.
It felt as if every time I was swallowing razor blades. I couldn’t drink or eat anything. The pain was unbearable, but other than that I had no other symptoms of strep throat. I mean that the pain was so bad.
