What prompted me to go to the emergency room was the horrible pain I got it in my chin and half of my left leg. What I want to know is what makes me susceptible to this MRSA type of infection. I've had it from uncle from the Philippines. I've had cellulitis in my nose so I don’t know what's up.

My husband just passed from a long illness for 3 years. He was diagnosed 2 or 3 years ago with MRSA. He had dialysis, heart issues, bilateral lung effusions and 3 or 4 evacuations. They told me after he passed he had MRSA pneumonia on his death certificate. I went to the doctor 2 days after his death. My chest x-ray came with diagnosis of pneumonia. I was put on Bactrim. I wonder if that will get rid of MRSA pneumonia. It’s been over ten days. I still have a nonproductive cough, no fever, chest heaviness, and I am tired all the time. I am a healthy 60 year old female. I never had fever.

I've had a nasty time with MRSA! I heard there was an effective treatment developed here in Winnipeg. I also have severe myofascial pain syndrome. How is it that MRSA is killing more people than AIDS and you never hear about it in the media! I had surgery on my left foot and it was botched, I hate doctors.
