I have redness and a crusted over sore inside my cheek with swelling. I am not sure you can get impetigo in your mouth, wonder if anyone else have had this happen to them.

This is the 2nd time he has had impetigo and it lasted 3 months in the spring. This is the 3rd month trying to heal this problem presently. He has been seen by his doctor many times and is on his 3rd antibiotic. It is washed, treated, and dressed morning and night and he still develops blisters overnight. This man is a stroke victim and has right sided weakness. His sores are all in the groin area and some on his testicles and I wonder if there is some connection between sleeping mostly on his right side or the weakness of that side. He is in a power chair during the day and does exercise every day in his exercise room where he also walks using the rails. I wonder what antibiotic will finally heal this!
