I had bloating, ulcer, and abdomen pain from the H. pylori infection. I am now taking 3 regimen of medicines. However, I researched pylori, and what concerned me was that it is known to be contiguous and I was not told of this possibility. Now, I have exposed my partner.

I've had all these symptoms of H. pylori infection, the vomiting, nausea, stomach pain, acid reflux, not being able to keep food down, and when it gets bad it is the worst and it keeps you awake at night. I've been diagnosed once before, I had a count of bacteria over 9,000 living inside my stomach. I think it's come back, it's off to the doctors tomorrow for the 2nd test. I'll let you know the results.

I have minor GERD and I take Nexium. I was going to a hematologist for an unrelated problem and he found the presence of H. pylori and I am now on the three antibiotic regimen. The medicine is so strong I have to take Voltaren to keep the medicine down. I really didn't have any symptoms.
