I do a lot of reading and learn health updates. I have been trying antioxidants and they seem to be helping the interstitial cystitis pain. Fresh and frozen blueberries, grape Juice, vitamin C, blueberry-cranberry Juice, cranberry supplement, lots of water, etc. You may visit the bathroom a little more, but the water helps you flush out the toxins. I am very sensitive to drugs and antibiotics. Every person absorbs differently.

I am a 23 year old female. My life had just begun to take a path to my dream. Until, interstitial cystitis (IC) decided to board as a permanent member in my body. I can pinpoint to the exact day I started feeling my symptoms; and the exact reason it happened. Most people wonder how you got IC. Well, I don’t have to. I had a mild procedure done back on 11/17/17. A few short weeks after I started feeling bladder retention. I thought maybe hey, it will go away. Well, it never did. It. Just got worse.

Bladder pain and bladder problems are so misdiagnosed and ignored. I had bladder Botox, which was painful and has not helped. I am tired of people not understanding, especially doctors, because they don't have it. I feel what can help is listening to others who have it and knowing you are not alone. For 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, interstitial cystitis is a chronic disease that few understand!
