I had a feeling of wax build up in my right ear which turned into outer ear infection and in turn into an inner ear infection. Saturday morning I woke up and stood up only to collapse back onto the bed with room spinning. I eased myself up slowly, helped by the door handle and wall for support, legs wobbly, splitting sore head, and intake of water brought back up within a minute of drinking. I sit down with my chin on my chest and on trying to lift my head the room starts spinning. Four weeks on and still deaf in my right ear.

I have a sore ear after using wax remover for a possible inner ear infection. I am losing my voice and sound is nasal and low in volume. I used peroxide but with no help. I have also had infrequent nose bleeds seemingly from a sore high in the nose near the top. About where my glasses rub there is a bumpy spot. I need help because people cannot hear me talk.

My inner ear infection started with slight dizzy spells on a Monday morning but by Tuesday lunch I had to lie down, the room was spinning and I felt sick. At 4.40 pm I started being sick and was sick every time I tried to move. I then got some medication from the doctor and stared taking that, trying to allow it to do its work, before being sick again. This lasted until Wednesday lunch time. I still felt sick but the tablets stopped me actually being sick. It is now 2 weeks later and I’m a little better!

I've got an ear Infection and now the pain is so bad the doctor has prescribed me morphine. I've had 2 lots of amoxicillin and I'm now on a steroid spray. It doesn't seem to be getting any better. I'm getting severe headaches along with the pain in my ear.

I had the same symptoms of inner ear infection like many others have mentioned. The doctor prescribed amoxicillin and ofloxacin OTC. I also take Advil or Aleve for piercing pain. The infections were so bad that my ear, and half of my face would swell up; couldn't open my jaw, and had sore throat. The right side of my head was sensitive to touch. If you think you have ear infections, see a doctor right away. Don't hesitate, otherwise you will suffer 5 days of pure pain like me.

A year ago my left ear was compacted with wax and I got an infection trapped between the ear drum and wax. For a week, bacterial liquid dribbled out and then stopped. This resulted in a dull pain deep within my ear. Then, my ear filled with liquid for three months. At the same time, the area behind my ear and reaching onto my neck also filled with liquid. My doctor also noticed three lumps under the sac of water. At the same time the same side of my mouth became very tender and now one year of the pain.

I have itching, ear discharge, burning in ears and nose, and when talking the inside of my ear rattles like a blown speaker, and feels like glass in my ear. I took Apo-prednisone and azithromycin and it was starting to feel better but now three weeks later I am having the same problems as in the beginning and this is the second time I have taken medication for inner ear infection.
