My brother was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) almost 4 years ago. He was 44 at the time. I am very confused by it because he requires no oxygen, takes no medications except for depression and high blood pressure. He smokes medical herbs and seems to have no trouble inhaling. I wonder if he could have been misdiagnosed. He also has no weight loss issues. I am trying to understand this. Also I wonder if this affects or shuts down other organs.

Everything is a challenge with living with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Daily routine activities are becoming difficult.
