Ever since I had Lyme disease I've been super sleepy. I live to sleep. After a sleep study, I was prescribed Provigil (modafinil). It worked great for several years. Lately it hasn't worked well enough. I am going to see a doctor to get on some additional medication so I can work and do things normal people take for granted.

As a kid, I always liked to sleep. Now that I am retired, at first I slept normal, now 7 months has passed, and all I want to do is sleep, the most at one time was 34 1/2 hours straight, now it's about 14 to 16 hours a day. I just can't wait until bed time. I do take anti-depressants, maybe they are too strong or not strong. It is reassuring to know I'm not the only person like me.
