I have been told to leave it alone once I was formally diagnosed with having a hydrocele. Well, unfortunately maybe it is my age but at times the pain is overwhelming. It is very difficult to stand up and walk straight. I keep reading that these hydroceles are supposed to not have any associated pain.

I had surgery on a hydrocele over three weeks ago, but still have swelling and a great deal of pain. The pain extends from my groin to my foot on the right side – the site of the hydrocele.
