First I got treated for Helicobacter pylori. One year ago, breath test showed that H. pylori was not eradicated and a little infection was there, not very high, 57. Thereafter, I lost appetite, had gas and bloating, so I was put on antibiotics for a week. Today is the sixth day of treatment, I am feeling terrible, and the sight of food makes me bring up. Tongue has become sore, I lost weight, and due this anxiety, I can’t sleep at night. I am worried about this. I hope these symptoms will go away after the treatment.

Undergoing the treatment for H. pylori was a terrible experience for me. I had excruciating pain and had to spend a night in the hospital during my two week antibiotic treatment. However, despite how terrible the treatment was, I am so grateful that it was discovered and treated. For a very long time I’ve suffered from upset stomach, inability to eat, and excessive ulcer and gas pains. Now I am able to eat food again and live, and I am so much happier than I was before being diagnosed with H. pylori.
