My heart attack symptoms were extreme pressure that came on in 2 minutes at 5:00 am, followed by a burning sensation in my upper chest from sternum to but not including my neck, and across my chest stopping at both shoulders. It was as if I had a fire on my chest. It was intense, sudden and was not something one would ‘wait to see what happens' with. I went to the emergency room within 10 minutes of first symptoms. I am 61, fit, no history of heart issues, and in excellent health.

I had stomach pain and tightness, squeezing and stabbing pain in the heart, and tightness and pain across the chest under both breasts. I am a 61-year-old diabetic woman with three previous heart attacks three years ago.
