I didn’t think my malaise was a symptom of a heart attack. I thought it was heartburn. It hit me when I bent over to tie my shoe. I started vomiting and dry heaving, sweating profusely, and left arm really hurt. My wife just happened to be leaving early for work that day, and forced me to go to the emergency room (ER). I was feeling much better when we arrived at the ER, two nurses hooked me up to an EKG and wandered off, then came running back, hauled me off to pre-operative room, and within 5 minutes I was going to surgery to have a stent put in.

I think I have been having symptoms of a heart attack the last day or so. I have shortness of breath, can’t eat much, and am anxious and feeling like I am walking sideways. I feel so tired.

I just had an echocardiogram and stress test on Wednesday, at 2.00. On Thursday morning I had stomach pain. At 2:30 I took a Zantac at 3.00 and chewed a Maalox tablet, but it didn't help. At 3:03 I started to have chest pain, and at 3:13 had shortness of breath. Chest pain continued until about 5:00. I got up at 6:45, took omeprazole and prepared a bowl of oatmeal and seemed to feel better. About 9:00 I started to have chest pains again.
